Grenade attack in Srinagar leaves civilian, 3 armed forces personnel injured

Srinagar: Three armed forces personnel and a civilian were injured after suspected militants hurled a grenade on them in Nawa Bazaar area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Friday.

A senior police officer told news agency Global News Service that two CRPF personnel, one cop, and a civilian received splinter injuries after militants lobbed a grenade on a joint team of forces.

All the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off and searches are going on.
