Srinagar: One more militant has been killed in an ongoing military operation in Chimmer village of Damhal Hanjipora in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday afternoon, taking the toll of slain militants to three.

Police officials said that another militant has been killed in an ongoing operation, however, the identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, during the initial firing, two unidentified militants were killed, officials said. Reports said that an army personnel has also received injuries during the operation.
The operation began after a joint team of Police, army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Chimmer.
As the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them triggering the operation.
