Kulgam: Two armed forces personnel were injured in an ongoing military operation against militants in Chimmer area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
Official sources said that two army personnel received bullet wounds in an ongoing operation. Subsequently, both were removed to 92 Base hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable.
Earlier, police officials said that three unidentified militants were killed during the operation.
The operation began after a joint team of Police, army, and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Chimmer.
As the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them ensuing the operation. (GNS)
