Srinagar: An armed forces personnel was injured after militants attacked the party in Lazibal area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday evening, officials said.
Officials said that militants fired a few pistol shots towards the Jammu and Kashmir Police party at Lazibal, leaving a policeman injured.
“The injured policeman was shifted to hospital where his condition is stable,” an official said.
He said that the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation was launched in the area.
