Arms, ammunition recovered in JK’s Samba

Jammu: Police and army recovered two pistols, five magazines, and 122 rounds besides a silencer in Sarthian village of Rajpura in Samba district, officials said on Friday.

The officials said that recoveries were made by the army’s JAKLI and Police while carrying searches in the area falling within the jurisdiction of police station Ghagwal.

The arms and ammunition were found wrapped in a gunny bag with plastic tape around it, they said.
