“Sanction is hereby accorded to the transfer of state land measuring 204 Kanal 16 Marla bearing Khasra numbers 917/896(43 Kanal 7 Marla), 596/2(13 Kanal 1 Marla), 600(93 Kanal 12 Marla), 601(06 kanal 18 Marla), 607(09 Kanal 12 Marla),606(8 Kanal 1 Marla), 608 (25 kanal, 01 Marla and 597( 05 kanal, 4 Marla), situated at village Dhar Dharochan, Tehsil Bhalwal, district Jammu in favour of the Prison department for the establishment of a high-security prison,” reads an order issued by the Revenue Department.

According to the order, the land shall be used only for the purpose for which the sanction of transfer has been accorded after obtaining all other permissions as may be required for its establishment from the competent authority.
