Jammu: Panic gripped a Jammu and Kashmir bank branch after some suspicious object was found inside it in Janipur area of Jammu.
A senior police officer told Global News Service that soon after receiving information about the presence of a suspicious object, a police team was rushed to the Janipur branch of the JK Bank.
Quoting the officer, the report said staff and consumers were removed and searches were launched subsequently. However, he said, nothing was found from the object.
Even some shops were searched, reports said, however; nothing suspicious was found.
The search operation was underway till the filing of this report.
