Two PDP members arrested for protesting against Delimitation Commission

Srinagar: Two Peoples Democratic Party members associated with the party’s youth wing have been arrested on Saturday following a protest march against the delimitation commission proposal.

On Saturday, PDP members held a protest march, however, the protest was later disrupted by the police, and two PDP members Arif Laigaroo and Najim-u-Saqib were reportedly arrested.

Quoting reports, news agency KNS reported that Laigaroo has been shifted to police station Shergari and Saqib have been shifted to police station Ram Munshi Bagh Srinagar.

Notably, PAGD members including Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah, and Mehbooba Mufti were put under house arrest ahead of the proposed protest march in Srinagar today against the delimitation commission proposal.
