Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday claimed to have killed a militant affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit in Shalimar area of Srinagar.

Inspector General of Police, Kashmir zone, said that a militant has been killed in an operation against militants. The slain militant, according to police, has been identified as Salim Parray of Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit.
The police officer added that the operation against militants is going on and further details shall follow.
