Srinagar: Three militants were killed in an overnight military operation in Zolwa area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday.

Police said that three militants were killed in the operation and their affiliation and identification are being ascertained.
Earlier, the police said a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Chadoora on Thursday evening.
As the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering the operation.
