Pulwama: A military operation against militants has started in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, police said on Saturday evening.
Police officials said that a joint team of Police, Army and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in Naira village of Tahab hamlet in the district.
They said as the joint team of armed forces approached the suspected spot, militants fired upon them leading to the operation.
