Admin nominates 3 officials as nodal officers for GoI schemes in JK

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Monday nominated three officers as Nodal Officers for schemes sponsored by the Government of India to be implemented in JK.

As per an order issued by Secretary to the Admin, Nazim Zai Khan, under number 11-JK(DMRRR) of 2022, dated 31-01-2022, three officers have been nominated as nodal officers for five GoI schemes.

Suraj Prakash Rukwal, Special Secretary, has been nominated as nodal officer for Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction and 115 District Disaster Management Authorities while Lalit Bhat, Deputy Director (Panning) is the nodal officer for Aapda Mitra and National Disaster Management Information System.

As per the order, Waseem Shafi Dar, Senior Consultant, has been nominated as nodal officer for India Disaster Resource Network.
