Srinagar: Two militants affiliated with The Resistance Front a shadow name of LeT were killed in a predawn military operation in Zakura area of Srinagar district, police said on Saturday.
Police officials said that two militants of LeT/TRF were killed in Zakura Srinagar.
“One of the killed militants Ikhlaq Hajam was involved in the recent killing of HC Ali Mohd at Hassanpora Anantnag. Incriminating materials including 02 pistols recovered,” they said.
It’s Pertinent to mention that on January 29 a Head Constable of JK Police Ali Mohammad Ganie was shot at by the militants near his residential house at Hasanpora Tabala area of Bijbehara Anantnag.
