‘Three involved militants identified’
Budgam: Inspector-General of Police (IGP ) Kashmir range Vijay Kumar on Monday said that the killing of an armed forces personnel from central Kashmir’s Budgam is an act of abduction and murder by militants.
The IGP said that the case of death of the armed forces personnel identified as Sameer Ahmad Malla of Khag Budgam turned out to be the militant act of abduction and murder.
A militant associate of LeT outfit involved in the crime has been arrested and three other LeT militants involved have also been identified and shall soon be dealt with under the law, the IGP said.
Earlier, police had said that all angles whether murder or militancy angles were being probed.
