Two cops injured in grenade attack in Srinagar, says police

Srinagar: Two personnel of Jammu and Kashmir Police were injured after suspected militants lobbed grenade on armed forces in Rainawari area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district on Wednesday evening.

A top police officer said that militants lobbed grenade on the Naka party. In this incident two cops received minor splinter injuries, they have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off and searches are going on. (GNS)
