Two non-locals injured after being shot by unidentified gunmen in Pulwama

Pulwama: Two nonlocals were injured on Monday after being attacked by unidentified gunmen in Lajurah area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

An official said that militants fired upon two non-local labourers in Lajurah Pulwama, who have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

He identified the duo as Patlashwar Kumar, son of Joko Chowdary of Bihar who has a right arm injury and Joko Chowdary, son of Thaugh Chowdary of Bihar, who has injuries in his right arm and right leg.

He added that the area has been cordoned off and searches have been launched.

Pertinently, on Sunday evening, two militants fired upon two non-local labourers at Nowpora, Pulwama, leaving them seriously injured.

The wounded labourers were rushed to a nearby hospital and were identified as Surinder, son of Bishan Singh from Pathankot and Deeraj Dat, son of Susheel Dat of Pathankot.
