Shopian: Two militants have been killed in an ongoing military operation in Badigam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
Official sources said that two militants have been killed in an ongoing operation; however, the identity of the slain militants is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier, the operation started after a joint team of police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Badigam.
As the joint team of forces approached the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering the operation.
