Arms, ammo recovered during search Op in JK’s Ramban, says police

Jammu: Police on Wednesday claimed to have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

An official said that during a search operation in Sumbar area of Gool subdivision, police recovered 179 bullets of ammunition (including AK-47 132 bullets, 7.65 mm 21 bullets, 303 mm 14 bullets, Chinese Pistol Rounds 12, 2 Magazines, 1 Wireless Set, 1 Binacular and 2 UBGL Gernnades with 1 UBGL Rod/Tube.

Meanwhile, an investigation has started into the matter, the official said.
