Ramban: A high alert has been sounded after a grenade blast that took place near police post Indh in Gool subdivision of Ramban district, officials said on Tuesday.
An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer that a suspected grenade blast took place near Indh police post, following which an alert has been sounded in the area.
He said that following the explosion sentry of the police post fired several gunshots, however, no reports of any casualty have been reported in the incident.
Meanwhile, a top official confirmed to the news agency that a blast took place near the police post, while further details are being ascertained.
