Budgam military Op: Militant killed, says police

Budgam: A militant has been killed in an ongoing military operation in Waterhail area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.

Officials said that one militant has been killed in an ongoing military operation, however  the identity of the slain is yet to be ascertained.

ADGP Kashmir Kashmir Vijay Kumar earlier in a tweet said that Lateef Rather is among three LeT militants trapped in the operation.

As per ADGP, Lateef Rather was involved in killing of Rahul Bhat, Ambreen Bhat and several other civilians.

Earlier, the operation was launched after a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Waterhail.
