IED recovered in south Kashmir’s Tral, says police

Tral: Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday claimed to have recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing around 10-12 kilograms in Tral area of Pulwama district.

Kashmir zone police informed that based on a specific input by police, IED weighing around 10-12 kgs was recovered in Beihgund area of Tral.

Police also said that the army and police were on job to destroy the IED in-situ.

“On a specific input of police, an IED, approx 10-12 Kgm has been recovered in Beihgund area of Tral. Police and Army are on the job to destroy it insitu. A major terror incident averted,” police tweeted on Sunday.
