Ladakh: India and China on Thursday began disengagement in Patrolling Point 15 where the troops of both countries have been in a standoff since May 2020.

In a joint statement, as tweeted by news agency Press Trust of India, the armed forces personnel of both India and China have begun disengagement.

The tension between the two countries was triggered when clashes between the India-China soldiers took place in the Pangong Lake area in May 2020.
