Shopian: Three children suffered minor injuries after an unexploded shell exploded in Shirmal area of Shopian district of south Kashmir, official sources said.
The incident was reported at the site where a military operation against militants erupted on Monday resulting in the killing of a militant and injuries to an armed forces personnel.
Official sources told Free Press Kashmir that three children suffered minor injuries following the explosion at the site of operation in Shirmal. Following the incident, the officials said, the injured trio was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Shopain for treatment.
Pertinently on Monday, a militant was killed and an armed forces personnel was injured after a military operation against militants was launched in the area.
