Hyderabad: All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday asked the government to take charge of those responsible for the death of so many people in Morbi.

Over 135 people were killed after a British-era bridge in Gujarat’s Morbi collapsed just a week after renovation. The bridge collapsed at 6.42 on October 31 evening when around 500 people had congregated on it to perform some rituals in connection with the Chhath puja.

“This is a painful accident, we hope that PM Modi and Gujarat govt will give justice to the families of those who lost their lives. Government should tell who is responsible for the death of so many people,” he said, as per IANS.
