Srinagar: Three unidentified militants were killed in a military operation against militants in Sidra area of Jammu district on Wednesday.
A senior police officer told GNS that during the operation, three militants have been killed, arms and ammunition have been also recovered. However, the identity of the militants is being ascertained.
Meanwhile, searches are still going on at the site of operation, the officer added.
Official sources told GNS that militants were travelling in a truck which was intercepted by the armed forces leading to the operation. The driver of the vehicle has fled from the spot.
