Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that remarkable changes have been observed in Kashmir regarding the militancy.

The Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Vijay Kumar said that house owners have started denying shelter to militants in the Valley and parents don’t feel proud if their wards join the militancy, terming the both remarkable changes.

“Two remarkable changes observed in society; House owners started denying shelter to terrorists and Parents don’t feel proud if their wards join terrorism. Rather they appeal them to return back, curse terrorists openly & work with JKP for the return of their wards,” reads a tweet by Kashmir Zone Police.

He added that parents rather appeal their kin to return back and curse militants openly. The families also work with Jammu and Kashmir Police for the return of their wards, the ADGP added.
