NC General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar’s property bulldozed in Srinagar

The structure being bulldozed by the revenue authorities.

Srinagar: Authorities on Wednesday demolished the outer wall of the National Conference General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar’s house in the Humhama area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar.

The structure was demolished during an ongoing drive by the administration to demolish the structures on ‘state land’ in Jammu and Kashmir.

A team from the revenue department reached the site at Airport road Humhama this afternoon and razed the structure to the ground, reports said.

Meanwhile, the National Conference took to its official Twitter handle and denounced the demolishing of the structure.

“JKNC condemns the dismantling of the outer wall at Party General Secretary @AliMSagar_’s house at Humhama. Such actions of the govt. clearly smack of political vendetta, and the misuse of govt. machinery for the same,” reads the tweet.
