GoI allocates Rs 35,581 crore to JK from budget 2023

Srinagar:  The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir has been allocated Rs 35,581 crore in the budget presented by India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

The budget documents reveal that Jammu and Kashmir has been allocated Rs 35,581 crore in the Government of India budget for 2023-24.

According to the documents, there has been a massive hike in revised estimates for the current financial year.

The revised estimates for UT have been hiked to Rs 44,538 against budget estimates of Rs 35,581 crore. (KNO)
