The Palestinian Health Ministry has said that 35 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in January 2023 in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Ministry confirmed that Israeli forces have killed 35 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, including eight children and an elderly woman, in the first month of the new year of 2023, Quds News Network reported.

The Ministry added that the slain Palestinians had injuries in the upper parts of their bodies, mostly in their heads.

It also noted that 20 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces were from the occupied West Bank city Jenin.

The Ministry said January has been the bloodiest month for Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since 2015.
