Sopore: A boy was rescued after he allegedly jumped into river Jhelum in a bid to end his life in Seelo area in north Kashmir’s Sopore, reports said on Tuesday.
Reports reaching the news agency Kashmir News Observer said that a boy was found by locals attempting to jump into river Jhelum at Seelo bridge in Sopore.
“After noticing the movement as doubtful, locals rushed towards him, however, in the meantime, the boy jumped into the river, but was immediately rescued,” reports said.
