Srinagar: Water supply in several areas of Srinagar will remain affected on March 20 as necessary cleaning of a water reservoir will take place, officials informed.
On March 20, from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, the Alasteng water plant service reservoir having a capacity of 18 lakh gallons will be cleaned, due to which the supply will remain affected on the mentioned date, reads a notice by the Executive Engineer water works division Srinagar.
The to-be-affected areas include Pandach, Buchpora, Soura, Anchaar, Nowshera, Zenimar, Bagh-e- Ali Mardan, Zadibal, Hawal, Alamgiri Bazaar, Rajouri Kadal, Nallamar, Nawakadal, Bohri Kadal, Nowhatta, Hazratbal, Sadrabal, Nigeen,Saidakadal, Lal Bazaar and other adjacent areas.
