Modi hails Indian Railways move to establish additional halt in south Kashmir

Pulwama: The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on Thursday hailed the additional train halt between Awantipora and Kakapora in south Kashmir’s Pulwama. He said the Indian Railways move will help in deepening the connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Bringing culturally rich Kashmiri towns on Railway network! Amid cheers and celebrations, the long-pending demand for the Ratnipora Halt between Awantipora and Kakapora has finally been fulfilled. This halt will make mobility easier in the region with accessible transportation,” Indian Ministry of Railways Tweeted.

Reacting to the news, Modi’s twitter handle shared, “Good news for deepening connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir.”
