Awantipora: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Awantipora conducted raid at Wopalwan Awantipora in connection with case FIR No. 01/2023 of GRP Awantipora.
In a statement, police said, “The raid was conducted in the residential house of accused namely Sheikh Sayurl Nisar, son of Nisar Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Wopalwan Awantipora and proper SOPs were followed.”
It said, “During the search, relevant information was gathered besides, bank pass books, islamic books of Jahad and other incriminating materials were recovered by the SIU Awantipora.”
