This incident happened on the night of June 3. Mohit Yadav and the bus driver, K.P. Singh, stopped the bus for a short time in Bareilly before continuing their journey from Satellite Bus Stand to Kaushambi. They stopped the bus to let two Muslim passengers pray.

Other passengers were informed that the bus has stopped for the passengers’ prayers.

A passenger named Satendra recorded a video of one of the praying passengers and shared it on social media. This made many people angry, and Satendra formally complained to the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation through a platform called X (which used to be Twitter).

In the video, some passengers were unhappy about the bus stopping on the road at night just for two people to pray.
