Haryana: Monu Manesar, a Hindu right-wing member infamous for attacking Muslims, and currently facing accusations in the murder of two Muslim men whose charred bodies were discovered in a car in Bhiwani, Rajasthan, has been arrested by the Haryana police.

Manesar was taken into custody in Manesar and is expected to be transferred to the Rajasthan Police. He is also facing allegations of instigating violence in Nuh that occurred in July.

The incident in question involves the abduction of Junaid, aged 35, and Nasir, aged 25, residents of a village in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

They were abducted by Hindu right-wing men on February 15. Tragically, their burned bodies were discovered the following day inside a Bolero vehicle that had been set on fire in Loharu, located in Haryana’s Bhiwani district.

Quoting Bharatpur SP, Mridul Kachawa, Siasat.com reported: “We have received information that Haryana Police has detained Monu Manesar, who is wanted in the Nasir and Junaid lynching case. Haryana Police is carrying out its further procedure, and our officers are in contact with them. When their procedure completes, our District Police will begin theirs.”
