Militancy has not ended in JK, only dialogue can ensure peace: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar: National Conference president and Member of Parliament, Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thursday said that militancy has not ended in Jammu and Kashmir and that only dialogue can ensure peace here.

Farooq Abdullah, as per the news agency Kashmir News Observer, visited the residence of deputy superintendent of police, Himayun Muzamil Bhat at Humhama, who was killed in a military operation last evening.

Senior Abdullah while talking to media persons said that militancy has not come to an end in Jammu and Kashmir.

“We cannot achieve peace without holding talks. Fighting with enemies can only lead to destruction and Ukraine is the perfect example of it,” he said.
