Baramulla: Police have arrested a man for raping his teen daughter in Kalantra Payeen area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday.
In a statement, the Baramulla Police said, “Police Station Kreeri received written complaint from one girl (name withheld) age about 19 years stating therein that she was raped by her father (name held), a resident of Kalantra Payeen, District Baramulla and is absconding from home.”
On this written complaint case, an FIR was registered in Police Station Kreeri under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
