Shopian: An unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing military operation at Chotigam area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday, an official said.
A top police officer while confirming to Global News Service that one militant has been killed, whose identity is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile searches are underway in the area.
Earlier, as per officials, a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir police and personnel of Indian Army launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
