Mumbai: At Thakur College of Science and Commerce in Kandivali, Mumbai, BMM students had their ID cards confiscated and were marched to a session organised by the college for a BJP member.

During the march to the session on the 7th floor, students found the exits locked, suggesting the college anticipated escape attempts.

At the session, students discovered that Dhruv Goyal, son of Union Minister Piyush Goyal, was the spokesperson. The focus was on Prime Minister of Indian Narendra Modi and BJP’s achievements.

Students, speaking anonymously to FPJ, expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of communication from college authorities and the unexpected event, adding to exam stress.

Reportedly, students recording the event were reprimanded and ordered to delete videos. One student who protested was silenced but eventually managed to express concerns to Goyal. After Goyal’s departure, the principal criticised students for their behaviour.
