A Lebanese man was killed on Saturday in southern Lebanon as a result of two Israeli airstrikes targeting the towns of Kafr Shuba and Shebaa.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, Israeli aircraft conducted raids at dawn, resulting in the death of Qasim Asaad in Kafr Shuba and the destruction of two homes. There has been no immediate response from Israel regarding this report.
Tensions have heightened along the Lebanon-Israel border since the Israeli military’s genocide in Gaza following a retaliatory attack by Hamas on October 7, 2023.
