Hezbollah from Lebanon announced on Wednesday that it conducted missile and drone attacks on a military facility in northern Israel in response to Israeli strikes that resulted in Hezbollah casualties.

The Israeli military reported that 14 soldiers were wounded in the incident, with six in serious condition, Reuters reported.

Israel retaliated by targeting the source of the attacks after detecting anti-tank missile and drone launches from Lebanon toward the Bedouin village of Arab al-Aramshe, where soldiers were reportedly located.

Earlier, Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon led to the deaths of three people, including a Hezbollah field commander, Reuters reported quoting Lebanese security sources.

These clashes between Israeli forces and Hezbollah have been ongoing for over six months, coinciding with the Gaza genocide, marking the most significant hostilities since the 2006 war between the two sides.

Subsequently, Israel’s air force announced further strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure north of Baalbek in eastern Lebanon, expanding beyond the usual southern border region where most Israeli strikes have occurred.

According to a Reuters, at least 370 individuals in Lebanon, including over 240 Hezbollah fighters and 68 civilians, have died in the conflict. Additionally, 18 Israelis, comprising soldiers and civilians, have lost their lives.
