Doda: Amid the ongoing military operation against militants in Doda, where four army personnel including an officer, were killed, Ghulam Nabi Azad, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Chairman of Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP), expressed deep concern over the increasing militancy in the Jammu region.
He urged the government to take decisive steps to combat this threat, emphasising the importance of preserving every human life and addressing those who disrupt peace. Azad extended his heartfelt condolences to the soldiers’ families and called for prayers for peace.
“Very sad to hear that 4 soldiers, including one Captain of Indian Army were killed in Doda. The rise of militancy in Jammu province is deeply concerning. The government must take serious measures to erode militancy. Every human life is precious, and the enemies of peace must be dealt with. My condolences to the families of the martyrs and my prayers for peace,” Azad wrote on X.
