Sitharaman to introduce JK Finance Bill in Lok Sabha today

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha will continue discussions on the Union Budget and Jammu and Kashmir Budget on Tuesday, as outlined in the day’s agenda.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to introduce a bill to authorise the payment and appropriation of funds from the Consolidated Fund of Jammu and Kashmir for the 2024-25 financial year.

Additionally, Home Minister Amit Shah will present a motion for the election of the Committee on Official Language. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal will propose motions for electing members to various boards, including the Coffee Board, Spices Board, Rubber Board, Tea Board, and Marine Products Export Development Authority.

Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh will move a motion for electing four members to the Central Silk Board. MoS Commerce Jitin Prasada will also provide updates on the implementation of recommendations from Standing Committee on Commerce reports.
