Ganderbal: A 13-year-old boy died after he drowned in a canal in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday afternoon, officials said.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Observer that drowned in the canal while taking a bath in Mongam village of Kangan.
He said that soon after the incident, a rescue operation was launched and retrieved the boy from the canal.
