Kokernag: A military operation against militants has started in Ahlan area of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
A senior police officer told Global News Agency that a team of police and army personnel launched a cordon and search operation in Ahlan on a specific input.
“Encounter has started at Ahlan Gagarmandu area of District Anantnag. Police and Security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police wrote on X.
