Jammu: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has broken the notion that it was an ‘outsider’ in Jammu and Kashmir,” the party’s senior member Ram Madhav said on Sunday.

“We are not outsiders in J&K; we are the masters of our own destiny,” he asserted. “We have been part of the government here since 2014 and have given good positions to our allies.”

Addressing a rally here, Madhav said the upcoming elections in J&K are significant. “This election is not just about winning or losing; it’s about building trust amongst the people,” he said. “We have done good work in the last five years, and people want us to continue.”

The BJP member said the party’s focus goes beyond mere electoral victories. “We will not let our opponents dictate the narrative,” Madhav said. “This election is going to be historic. A new chapter is about to begin in Jammu and Kashmir’s history.” (KNS)
