Phase II polling begins, 10.22% voter turnout in first two hours

Srinagar: The second phase of the Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir witnessed a voter turnout of 10.22% across 26 constituencies as of 9:00 am, according to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer.

The polling is taking place across six districts, with authorities expecting the participation rate to rise as the day progresses.

Security measures have been tightened, and polling is reported to be proceeding peacefully.
