15 CRPF personnel injured as vehicle falls into deep gorge in Budgam

Efforts were underway to retrieve the damaged vehicle from the deep gorge.

Budgam: More than 15 CRPF personnel were injured in a road accident in the Pakherpora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday morning, officials reported.

According to reports, the vehicle veered off the road and fell into a gorge near the Khaygam crossing in Pakherpora.

The injured personnel were immediately evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is yet to be confirmed.

However, three personnel who were declared serious have been referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment.
