Budgam: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday visited the family of Dr Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar, who was killed along with six others in a militant attack at a construction site in Gagangeer, Sonamarg.
Omar Abdullah expressed solidarity with the family and assured Dr Shahnawaz’s son that he would cover all his education expenses, according to MLA Khansahib Saif-ud-din Bhat.
The attack took place on Sunday evening, resulting in the deaths of seven people, including Dr Shahnawaz.
