Tral: A teenager from Uttar Pradesh was injured after “militants fired on him” in Jammu and Kashmir’s Tral on Thursday morning, PTI reported on Thursday morning.
This is the third attack on migrant workers in Kashmir within a week, the report said.
However, a top police officer told GNS that they are ascertaining the fact how he was injured. He has received injury in right hand, the officer said.
Soon after the incident, a joint team of Police and Indian Army personnel launched a search operation in the area.
On Sunday, seven people, including a Kashmiri doctor, migrant labourers, and staff of a contractor working on a tunnel along the Srinagar-Leh highway, were killed in a militant attack in JK’s Ganderbal district.
